Founded in 1848
Hounds at the heart of the High Peak
The High Peak Harriers operate across Derbyshire’s limestone country between Bakewell, Buxton and Ashbourne. The landscape, the pack and close relationships with farmers and landowners have shaped the organisation for generations.
Today, activities are lawful trail hunting using pre-laid scent trails, conducted in accordance with the Hunting Act 2004.

Care, fitness and character throughout the year
The hounds’ welfare comes first. Their breeding, training, exercise and daily care are entrusted to an experienced team supported by the wider High Peak community.
